Michelson Laboratories, Inc. is fully accredited by the State of California, Department of Health Services (DOHS) under the Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP Certificate No. 1198) and ISO 17025 accredited through A2LA. Our Environmental Services Department provides a complete range of services for organic and inorganic analysis, allowing Michelson Laboratories, Inc. to meet the environmental analytical needs of our clients.

In addition, our investments in instrumentation and standardization provide us with the ability to maximize the capabilities and capacity of our other departments, providing extra assurance that client turn-around times are met. Michelson Laboratories, Inc. provides services using an integrated system of modern, fully-equipped laboratories that can analyze a variety of sample matrices ranging from air and water, to hazardous wastes. Other environmental services include: drinking water, source and ground water, wastewater, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) monitoring, industrial waste, geotechnical soil investigations, landfill gas emissions, hazardous substances, and priority pollutants.

Our highly qualified staff of laboratory professionals routinely analyze organic and inorganic chemical, physical, and microbiological constituents for environmental and regulatory compliance in accordance with EPA Manuals (Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods for determination of Organic Compounds in Drinking Water), and other applicable EPA Methods published in the Federal Register and Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater published by the American Public Health Association. Certified sample containers with their proper preservatives, ice chests, chain-of-custody documentation and sample pick-up services are all included as part of our routine service.
